If you haven’t seen it already, check out the link below from the Associated Press for this awesome review of The Great Word Quest from PBS Kids Go! In collaboration with PBS, Smashing Ideas Studio developed the game well as scripted, recorded and edited all of the voiceover for this application. Smashing Ideas built the Drupal-based CMS that manages quests, all word gems, and posting user generated content. The game features regular updates as users take on more quests and can add more words anytime they want. Congrats to the entire SI team!

Our very own CEO, Steve Jackson became the focus of a story by Alexandra Samuel featured on Oprah.com! It seems that Alexandra and Steve were in line at our local Apple store the morning iPad’s became available. But when the announcement was made that customers were only allowed to purchase one iPad Steve knew we’d have a hard time at Smashing Ideas sharing one device. Alexandra stepped in and helped, allowing “Uncle” Steve to buy two and we’ve been putting together some really cool stuff ever since.
